The Yemeni Engineers Syndicate condemns the media campaign against the Minister of Water and Environment

The Yemeni Engineers Syndicate issued a statement condemning the media campaign against the Minister of Water and Environment, Eng. Nabil Abdullah Al-Wazir. The following is the content of the statement.
The Yemeni Engineers Syndicate has pursued the misleading media campaign which violates all the provisions and laws carried out by the journalist Osama Sari through social media platforms, websites, newspapers and media channels in systematic target with malice aforethought and deliberate defamation of engineer Nabil Al-Wazir - Minister of Water and Environment in the National Salvation Government in illegal manner violated to the Press and Publications and other laws.
We, in the Yemeni Engineers Syndicate, convict and denounce the defamation against the false allegations that are being promoted against the engineer Nabil Al-Wazir - a member of the executive authority of the Syndicate - the Minister of Water and Environment. We consider this provocative manner as a grave offense to all of the engineering professions and an unacceptable transgression that falls under the rule of public defamation, which is inconsistent with the press law, publications, judgments, administrative and human rights laws, and inconsistent with professional work ethics altogether.
We also affirm our attitude, rejecting such behavior and all those who stand behind it, considering that is an unlawful direct targeting. Perhaps one of the priorities and ethics of publishing, the information should be based on evidences, investigations and verdicts that prove facts which issued by competent and legal official bodies.
We, as well as, demand the political leadership represented by the Supreme Political Council and the National Salvation Government to stop such barbaric acts and practices of abuse and defamation along with accountability of those who are entrenched in misleading and targeting national figures who could be efficiently able to achieve many achievements and datum despite the blockade and the war, still an example of successful administrative work in various Domains.
Therefore, we, through the Yemeni Engineers Syndicate, stress the necessity to stop and apply, accordance with the law, the principle of accountability to those who have committed insults and defamation along with continuation of such barbaric acts practiced by those disloyal who aim at cracking the wheel of construction and development efforts, through the personal targeting of His Excellency, the Engineer Nabil Al-Wazir, the Minister of Water, due to his strenuous efforts with all responsibility, professionalism, integrity and transparency, to achieve great and tangible success at the level of the Ministry and all its sectors and branches in the various governorates of the Republic.
